Privacy Policy

Simple Travel Translator helps you translate travel text. This policy explains what the app processes and what it does not collect.

Information processed

• Photos: Camera and photo-library images are processed on your device with Apple Vision to recognize text. The app does not upload your original photos.
• Translation text: Text that you ask us to translate is sent over HTTPS to our Cloudflare Worker and a translation provider so that we can return the result. We do not store the original translation text in our database.
• Anonymous app data: The app creates a random installation identifier. We may process that identifier, app version, request type, and limited events such as activation, translation, purchase, cancellation, or refund to enforce the free image limit and understand basic product reliability. Allowlisted event records are retained for up to 90 days. Events do not contain translation text or images.
• Subscriptions: Apple processes payment. To verify a subscription, the app sends Apple’s signed transaction information to our Worker. We retain only transaction identifiers, product, status, environment, expiration time, installation association, and timestamps.

Third parties

Cloudflare provides the Worker and database infrastructure. Baidu Intelligent Cloud provides machine translation. Apple provides App Store billing and subscription transaction services. These services process data only as needed to provide their respective functions and under their own terms and policies.

Storage and choices

Translation history and saved phrases are stored locally on your device. You can remove them from the app, and deleting the app removes its local storage. You can deny camera or photo-library permission and continue using text translation. We do not use advertising identifiers, sell personal information, or run third-party advertising.

Children and changes

The app is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The effective date above will be updated with material changes.
